Fertilize - Weed - Green

1. It's that time of year when a garden needs fertilization. With warmer temperatures arriving in the near future, its that time to green up the lawn. But let's talk about that green plush lawn you want to see growing. A better lawn than you had last year? Yes.

This year you want to make the neighbors envious of your green lawn. You don't need to have it look like a golf course. Just follow these next few tips. You will have the entire neighborhood in awe, by admiring your healthy lawn.

2. There are several kinds of fertilizers that one can buy. The Scott's brand, etc. The kind I love to buy is the brand from Intermountain Farmers Assc. I have used this brand for 33 years and I have had much success. The number onthe container you will want to look for is 30-10-0. The combination will give you a lucious lawn year after year.

3. I apply an application from my spreader in April, July, and finally in September.
A fine layer on granulated pellets will protrude to the ground.

4. It's alright to apply to your evergreens and decidious plants as well.

There you have it a beautiful lawn all summer long.

Happy gardening....

Marsha
