Planting lettuce

It's that time of the year when planting is in its early on stages. But these is a vegetable that is eager for every gardener to get started in planting. It is called lettuce. These cold hardy vegetables can withstand colder tmperatures as we wait for the warmer weather. Some of the kinds of lettuce you can grow are as follows. First we have Ice, Oak leaf, Salad bowl, Grand rapids, and Red sails. Then the American classicheirloom is this type called, Black Seeded Simpson. All these cab tolerate the cooler evenings. All these lettuce kinds will do well. The crisphead lettuce is the famous Iceberg . This is the most favorite. It is low in nutrients. But all in all these kinds of lettuce all can withstand heat as well.

Planting - For the planting it is best to plant in full sun. Make sure you have good soil.

Watering - What you want to do is check everyday at your plant. Make certain it has ample amounts of water.

Harvest - You will know when it is time to pick your crop of lettuce. A full size with great leafs to enjoy and eat.
