Planting Pontiac Potatoes

One Potatoe, Two Potatote

Do you have a favorite potatoe that you like? If you do I have a potatoe plant that will be flourishing in your garden this season. This great potatoe is called Pontiac. In my opinion these potatoes to be the best tasting by far. They are so easy to grow. I planted this plant in gardens gone by and these potatatoes were delicous. Mouth watering even with peas!

Planting

When planting potatoes make certain you have one of the eyes of the potatoe in the face down postion in the earth. This process will begin the root sytem to take effect. Make sure you have some good soil too.

Watering

Now when its time to water don't make the plant to soggy. The plant can withstand in between watering. Because most of the moisture goes down to the root anyway.
But keep in mind as the tempertures become warmer account for my watering.

Crop/Harvest

During the end months of summer like July and August you will be taking a spade and dig around the green leavs of the plant. Now you should have ample and bountiful amounts of the best potatoes around town.

Happy spuds,
Marsha
