Container Potted Plants

Potted plants

The month is May. It's a great time to begin your container potted plants. Look for plants that will look good and survive in a container. Some of the flowers you might to try in a container are hostas, ornamental grasses. You can use kale, chives, cascading petunias, creeping time. I always love to use the famous geraniums. They add such color and do well contained.

The three items of interest you may want to pay attention to when planting in pots are as follows:

1. Texture

2. Cascading

3. Color

If you keep these tree componets in mind when planting you will have the best container this side of the Mississippi.

Happy gardening,
Enjoy planting,

Marsha
