Zonal Geraniums

Zonal Geraniums

I am enightened by the growing of zonal geraniums. They are just delightful to grow. The seed of a zonal geranium. These are the best grown from seed.

There are other kinds of geraniums for instance, the martha washington just to name a few. There is a double geranium as well.

Planting

Dig a four inch place in the earth for your flower. Watch it grow. Make certain you have enough depth as well. The deeper the hole the better. The plant likes to have plenty of room. Use good loamy soil when amending the soil. Cover the plant securely with good dirt.

Cutflower

The geranium can make a great plant. Believe it or not. This flower is great with any coreopsis or lupine for a cutting for a bouquet.

Note: As I was in kindergarten, my teacher Mrs. Hickenlooper grew the best inside geraniums this side of the Mississippi.

Enjoy your geraniums,

Marsha
